Yes, once you place a bid you will be notified if someone bids higher than you and if that doesn’t happen then you will be notified if you have won.
How many running auctions can I bid on?
As many as you want, this may be a good idea if you want to maximise your chances of winning,

Certain auctions have a minimum bid increment of either R50 of R100 so betting one rand will automatically set your bid to the next increment.
How long does an auction run?
