This collectors’ framed, signed compact disc Eavesdropping on the Songs of Whales, is an absolute must have for fans of The Parlotones!

This was the rock band’s fifth album, released in June 2011. The album features the band’s first new acoustic versions of  “Giant Mistake”, “Life Design” and “Should we fight back?”, as well as a few new songs “Tiny”, “Long Way Home” and “Inside”.

Eavesdropping on the Songs of Whales is a stripped down interpretation of the band’s music where the absence of electrical amplification will leave you breathless.

The Parlotones wrote one of the greatest Rock ‘n Roll stories South Africa has ever seen. Formed in 1998 in Johannesburg, they have achieved massive success in South Africa, as well as success in various international markets.
Their career, to date, has spanned over 20 years and includes achieving multi-platinum selling status and accumulating numerous awards.

The album artwork was designed by drummer Neil Pauw and was an adaptation of one of his paintings.  The cover was the public’s first introduction to Neil’s vivid artistic talents and was one of 30 to be launched.
